JOB DESCRIPTION

McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston, a leading academic health center, invites applications for a full-time Staff Physician position with the Department of Family and Community Medicine.

 

Position Key Accountabilities:
 

  • Providing direct patient care in outpatient settings and other activities may include supervision of medical students and residents in clinics. 
  • Developing and sustaining an environment in the patient care units that supports excellence and innovation in clinical practice and patient care through assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating programs and standards that support positive patient care outcomes including excellent risk-adjusted outcomes. 

Qualifications:

 

  • M.D., D.O.,
  • ABFM Board Certified
  • Texas Medical License or be eligible for a Texas Faculty Temporary License.  
  • Multilingual skills preferred.
