At UTHealth Houston, postdoctoral research fellows (postdocs) work in an enriching environment to conduct groundbreaking research, have access to state-of-the-art facilities, and build collaborations within the largest life sciences destination in the world. Postdocs are an integral part of a robust research community where supporting postdoctoral training is an institutional priority.
Our Postdoctoral Certificate Training Program provides professional development training to ensure that postdocs acquire the skills and knowledge necessary for any career trajectory. There are numerous courses designed specifically for postdocs, who also have access to courses offered at any of UTHealth Houston’s seven schools: Cizik School of Nursing, McGovern Medical School, McWilliams School of Biomedical Informatics, School of Dentistry and School of Public Health, School of Behavioral Health Sciences, and the MD Anderson UTHealth Houston Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences.
What our postdocs are saying
Postdocs receive personal and professional support through our dynamic Office of Postdoctoral Affairs that works to ensure that all postdocs receive competitive salaries and benefits, one-on-one career guidance, structured mentoring programs and much more. We are committed to helping you get the “post” out of your “doc”.
