Step 2: Interview(s)
Interview formats vary and may include one or more in-person or panel interviews. The interview time with the hiring manager is a great opportunity for you to better understand the position you are applying for, and hear firsthand what it is like to work at UTHealth Houston.
If selected, you'll be contacted directly. An initial phone interview may assess your fit and discuss availability. This is also your opportunity to ask questions. (Please keep an eye on your email, including your spam folder, as they may reach out to you via phone or email.)
Step 3: Job Offer & Screening
If you are selected for the position , you'll receive a conditional job offer, contingent on a background check and other pre-employement requirements.
Upon acceptance, you'll get an email with offer details, pre-employment paperwork, and orientation information. New employees at UTHealth Houston undergo a six-month probationary period.
All job offers are contingent upon successfully completing a background check and meeting pre-employment requirements.
